Friday the 9th: Kurt Vile & The Violators Union Transfer
Kurt Vile’s just put out a new record called b’lieve i’m goin down ands it’s pretty damn good. I’d suggest checking this one out.
Saturday the 10th: The Late Greats EP release @ The Grape Room
Philly alt rockers The Late Greats are releasing their first EP, Kids You Knew, this Saturday at The Grape Room. I’ve had the pleasure of getting a little sneak peak and it’s a great collection of straight ahead rockers that will make you want to chug cheap beers, fist pump and make bad decisions. It’s fast, heavy and just generally a good time.
If that weren’t reason enough to check out this show it gets better. Ridge Summit, The Heavy Weather, Red Means Run and Jamie Shemanski (Something Like A Monument) are also playing… so it’s going to be a pretty stacked bill.
